We provided Karen with a “remodel wish list” - amazingly, she used our current plans and came up with a stunning design for our “new” home. Her ability to think outside the box, while staying in the box was outstanding! Karen came up with a beautiful design for a new front porch that puts the finishing touch on our home. Her advice and assistance on choosing colors, textures, cabinets, and the overall interior feel of our home was invaluable! Cathy's New Kitchen
If Karen had not answered my call for help, I would probably still be staring at my dated kitchen knowing that it desperately needed a facelift. I had talked to Karen about how I had reached a dead end on starting this big step of a kitchen remodel. I am so glad that she had the ability to walk into our home and see what this kitchen could be. She presented us with ideas and computer drawings that made it all seem easily achievable. Karen found out what we wanted to “correct” with the old layout and what we needed to make everything flow for the way we use the kitchen. We are so pleased with the final product! When she came by to see how everything turned out, she closed her eyes before she walked into the room – Surprise! Gorgeous! And Karen made it happen for us.

Matt’s Craftsman Bungalow Staged To Sell (Now Sold)
I'm a realtor and was planning to sell my home. I asked Karen to look at my Craftsman Style Bungalow and give me recommendations on how to stage it. I wanted it to be a warm and welcoming charmer I knew it could be. Karen did an overall consultation on the interior and exterior needs and then helped me prioritize what I wanted to do to sell my home. She understands the Arts and Crafts style and encouraged me to stay true to the great bones of the house recommending window blinds that would show off my wood trim and furnishings and decorative arts. She edited out pieces to make the spaces look as large as possible. The result was a quick sale.

Wow! Karen nailed it. She worked up several designs that would work in the space so that I could choose the best for my taste. It was fun to walk through the virtual house, getting the feel of the room and space. Karen even colorized the drawings. Karen has a good sense of proportion, especially with windows and doors. The bathroom layout is perfect. With not much space, Karen fit in a washer/dryer, folding counter and storage along with the regular bathroom fixtures. I recommend Karen in all ways. She is charming and warm, ready to listen and design you the most fabulous home.

Closet /Laundry Room Design
I needed my washer dryer moved to the main floor of our home. I selected a bedroom across from my master bedroom and explained to Karen that I’d like to have the room double as laundry room/walk in closet. Karen listened to my ideas and needs and provided me with pictures and drawing of creative options for various floor plans and lighting. Karen helped me select the stain color for flooring, cabinets, granite countertops options and appliances. Once the flooring was installed, pocket door inserted, new trim, plumbing and electrical retrofits were made, Karen joined me for the meeting with the cabinet maker to help me finalize wood, style and color of the cabinets. When everything was complete, she shopped for items, dressed and accessorized my beautiful, functional laundry room/closet. My room is exactly what I wanted. I love it! When we were done with that room, I asked Karen for suggestions on living room-dining room furniture arrangement ideas. She worked her magic moving furniture to open up our rooms and showcase our beautiful antiques. Karen’s professionalism really shows. She can see the whole picture in her head when putting it altogether. She is multi-talented, fun and easy to work with. I’d recommend her for any design project.

Karen's knowledge of design and artistic creativity guided me through the maze of choices so building was fun and exciting rather than an overwhelming experience. Redecorate With Your Own Furnishings
TADA DESIGNS helped me create a space that was warm and welcoming, all with items I already had in my home, it was amazing how making a couple of adjustment with existing furniture, rugs, and lamps could improve the space and feel of the room. Karen's input and recommendations were very helpful. She confirmed my paint color ideas and proposed fun new ideas I had not thought of.
